Circular knife sharpening attachment – BG1200

For use on the DTG-BG1200 belt sanderfor sharpening additional slicing circular knives.

The gripping surface can be adjusted 90 degrees, so that the slicing circular knife can be easily and safely removed and mounted.
A separate stop has been added to the accessory so that the sharpening angle of identical products can be easily reproduced. The standard accessory of the fitting is the digital protractor, which allows easy setting of the angle to be sharpened. Typically, circular knives are sharpened to 30 degrees.

How to use:
1. Turn the circular knife sharpening attachment to the horizontal um. receiving position to secure the slicing circular knives.
2. Centre the slicing knife by selecting the appropriate accessory adapter and secure it with the clamping disc.
3. Adjust the angle between the grinding surface and the blade.
4. position the circular knife sharpening attachment to the grinding belt.
5. Start the grinding machine and rotate the circular knife sharpening attachment evenly with the handle until the sharpening is correct.
6. If required, fine the edge on the circular knife and then deburr the circular knife using either the endless leather belt or polishing machine.
