Tripomax LEA 7/9 is a general purpose polishing bar for non-ferrous metals, for contoured shapes. Medium to fine surface roughness, medium gloss. For polishing copper, bronze and aluminium.

General information:

“… abrasive and polishing pastes contain 50-60 % abrasive grit, the remainder being agglutinating fats and oils. The pastes can be graded on two scales of value, the degree of abrasion and the surface gloss. While the former shows how much material is being removed (how coarse the paste contains), the surface gloss scale shows how glossy the paste can be used to produce a surface. The two metrics are inversely related, except for some pastes. So, with a high material separation, you will get a lower surface gloss. ”
