Polishing bar Extracut 9/2 LEA – Black – for pre-polishing /containing metals/ ~800 [g]

The Extracut LEA 9/2 grinding paste, High metal release with corundum particles, can be used for pre-polishing of high alloy steels and stainless steels.

General information:

“… abrasive and polishing pastes contain 50-60% abrasive grit, with the remainder containing bonding fats and oils. The pastes can be graded on two scales of measurement, namely the degree of abrasion and the surface gloss. While the former shows how much material is being removed (how coarse the paste contains), the surface gloss scale shows how glossy the paste can be used to produce a surface. The two metrics are inversely related, except for some pastes. So, with a high material separation, you will get a lower surface gloss. ”

“If you want to achieve a silky sheen, pre-sand with a grey Extracut or Abramax paste and a dense-seam rag wheel after sanding P280.”
