Fatcarbon® Lava Flow is a carbon fibre/epoxy composite knife handle material, with layers inspired by molten lava flows. In addition to its unique appearance, it has the following advantages:

Lightweight, high stiffness and strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability.

The same look through the entire thickness.

Well machinable.

Resistant to all detergents, oils, fats, weak acids.

Can be polished, painted or lacquered.

This carbon fibre material is an excellent choice for knife handles, liners or decorative inserts. Easily shaped with a belt sander or milling cutter, carbide drill.
