2023 – Series of competitions

We are preparing a short report on the DT Grinder Knifechallenge tournament series. We can look back on a great and eventful year. Thanks to all the enthusiastic competitors, fans and interested parties for their participation and support!

Thanks to Csaba Velez and Gábor Stern of the Knifechallenge team for the sponsorship and professional organization! Exemplary what you guys are doing in the knife community, we can say that without any doubt! As you know, the year 2023 was our first joint tournament season with the Knifechallenge team.

We’re very passionate about this genre of competition, so it wasn’t hard to decide that we wanted to be part of it. It was really great to work together! Thanks guys!We’ll do even better this year!

Hearty congratulations to all the competitors and to this year’s champion, our colleague Sándor Darai! Congratulations to Dávid Végh, who put in an overwhelming performance and although he won the final round, he slipped off the top step of the podium due to a worse result in the first race! (In total there was only 9 seconds between Sanyi and Dávid!)

For the last round, our colleague Dávid Tőzsér also got in the mood for a fight and jumped into the competition! Not bad at first, with a super performance he managed to get the 3rd place with his axe!

The main prize of the championship, as we have often mentioned, was a DTG-KS1V sharpening machine, which Dávid Végh can continue to work in his workshop! Good job to him!
