The layers of fatcarbon® Dark Matter Glow composite knife handle material are made from recycled carbon fibre, a bio-based epoxy resin. The material is made using high pressure and heat, using renewable energy. Its appearance was inspired by aurora borealis; in the dark, Dark Matter Glow emits a stunning luminescence.

It also has the following advantages:

Lightweight, high stiffness and strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability.

Resistant to temperature and impact.

The same look through the entire thickness.

Well machinable.

Resistant to all detergents, oils, fats, weak acids.

Can be polished, painted or lacquered.

This carbon fibre material is an excellent choice for knife handles, liners or decorative inserts. Easily shaped with a belt sander or milling cutter, carbide drill.
