Wood stabilisation kit – vacuum chamber 12,5 l+ vacuum pump 71 l/min

The kit is suitable for degassing of various casting materials (silicone, resin – polyurethane, polyester, epoxy, plaster, wax).

The enhanced chemical resistance of the vacuum chamber allows the Resin90 resin can be used to stabilise wood and bone.

The chamber is made of stainless steel, has a volume of 12.5 litres and internal dimensions: 25 cm diameter, 23 cm height. The lid is made of thick tempered glass, the seal is made of silicone. This seal is reliable and has a low tendency to mechanical deformation.

The excellent transparency of the lid allows continuous monitoring of the degassing process. The two ball valves control the process and the built-in glycerine vacuum gauge indicates the vacuum in the chamber.

The vacuum chamber is also equipped with an air filter to prevent contamination of the degassed material. It can be attached to the pump by means of a pneumatic coupling with a reinforced hose with an internal diameter of 8 mm and a length of 1,5 m. The product is made of high quality materials with thread sealing.

The vacuum pump is a two-stage, oil-operated pump with a free air delivery of 71 l/min (2.5 CFM) and a discharge vacuum of 0.3 Pa. The new vacuum pump series is characterised by high efficiency, extremely low ultimate vacuum and quiet operation.

The pump is equipped with an oil mist filter and a one-way mechanical valve to prevent oil from flowing back from the pump to the chamber.
