Vacuum pump oil 1000 ml

Shell vacuum pump oil is designed for rotary vane vacuum pumps. The oil is made from selected, premium quality, highly refined mineral oils that provide low vapour pressure and high performance, resulting in efficient lubrication.

Application:

in rotary and rotary vane vacuum pumps that achieve low vacuum levels (not less than 0,001 mbar at 75 °C);

in most industrial vacuum pumps.

Features and benefits:

Long life – less frequent oil changes, excellent resistance to chemical and mechanical degradation, reduces sludge deposits and contamination.

Wear and corrosion protection – effectively protects internal metal surfaces from corrosion and wear.

Wide range of temperatures – can be used at ambient temperatures above 0 °C, maximum operating temperature: 100 °C. Vacuum performance may be reduced at higher operating temperatures.

Restriction – not recommended for use with corrosive gases or chemical vapours.

When should I change the oil in my vacuum pump?

In RS series vacuum pumps, the oil should be changed every 20 hours of operation, but at least once a year.
If the pump is not achieving the rated vacuum, the oil may be overworked and also needs to be changed.
