Norton Abrasive Belt – Rapid Prep RP-RF VLIES Surface Conditioning Abrasive Belt
Abrasive belt recommended for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, hardened steel, titanium and nickel alloys.

Abrasive tape made of flexible non-woven nylon fibres. A combination of fibres, resin and abrasive particles to create a strong open structure. The fibres have elastic properties, so they pick up contours well and effectively remove unwanted burrs and dirt, while retaining the shape of the workpiece and continuously moulding to it. The open structure of the non-woven material allows aggressive sanding without clogging the abrasive belt and homogenizes the surface quality of the workpiece.

The fibres of the non-woven abrasive are constantly breaking off, so that other fibres emerge with new sharp grains, refreshing its surface. The result is high performance and extremely long abrasive belt life.

Rapid Prep tapes are used for deburring and threading, surface cleaning and smoothing on materials such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, hardened steel, titanium and nickel alloys.
