Flannel polishing wheel – rarely sewn 250x20x20 [mm]

The flannel polishing disc in this size can also be used on the DTG-PM250 polishing machine, suitable for polishing various shaped and flat surfaces.

“The discs consist of complete sheets, made by concentric circular stitching, to which abrasive paste or grit is applied with tallow or kaolin. The seam spacing is 12,5 mm for densely stitched discs and 50 to 75 mm for sparsely stitched discs. The basic hole diameter is 10 mm, with other hole diameters available on request.

The most common raw materials and their applications:

• Coloured cotton: made from whole coloured cotton sheets. Suitable for all metals and alloys, good metal release, general polishing disc.
• Molinos (recycled): made from whole, unbleached cotton sheets. Medium, general purpose polishing disc for all metals and plastics.
• White flannel: made from whole, very soft cotton sheets, fluffed on one or both sides for increased softness. For ultra-fine polishing, burnishing on soft metals.”

Rag discs types:
Rag discs are distinguished by size, seam density and material quality. Size: the smallest size is 50 mm, the largest 650 mm.
