The “Purple Haze” carbon fibre sheet is named after its unique shade of purple. This colour was originally associated with a rare natural phenomenon: fine particles dispersed in the air after a volcanic eruption give the sky a purple glow at sunset.

It has the following advantages:

Lightweight, high stiffness and strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability.

Resistant to temperature and impact.

The same look through the entire thickness.

Well machinable.

Resistant to all detergents, oils, fats, weak acids.

Can be polished, painted or lacquered.

This carbon fibre material is an excellent choice for knife handles, liners or decorative inserts. Easily shaped with a belt sander or milling cutter, carbide drill.
