The straightedge is a precision measuring tool that can be used to check the flatness of surfaces.

We also use it daily in our workshop to check the flatness of our meat grinding discs and to straighten knife blades. A useful tool in the workshop.

How to use:
Preparation: the workpiece and the edger must be thoroughly cleaned. Temperature equalization must be ensured to prevent deformation of the materials.

Measure: Place the ruler on the surface to be measured. Using a light source, check for any light gaps. Use a micrometer or a roughness tester to fine-tune the measurement.

Maintenance: clean and coat with anti-corrosion oil after use. Store in its leatherette case in a dry place.
