Plane grinding attachment

The surface grinding attachment for our DTG-BG2000 machines is a proprietary accessory specifically designed for surface grinding. It allows parallel grinding of workpieces and a uniform surface can be formed.

Precise material separation is ensured by a carriage moving on linear rails on the X and Y axes, which is moved longitudinally by hand and transversely by handwheel via a trapezoidal spindle-nut linkage. The travel is measured with an indicator clock with a 0.01 [mm] division. The transverse linear preload is provided by a gas spring to facilitate precise adjustment. The plane grinding attachment is fitted with a ⌀150 [mm] solid 90A shore hardness contact wheel. The wheel forms a single unit with the fixture, thus ensuring perfect reproducibility of set geometries and parallel surfaces. The workpiece is held in place by 11 neodymium magnetic feet, which are fitted with a rustproof cover plate. The magnetic support surface measures 45×300 [mm]. The rail holding the workpiece can be easily mounted and removed from the rollers, allowing easy mounting and easy cleaning of the workpiece.
Another new feature compared to previous versions is that it can be used ergonomically even in horizontal position, because the position of the attachment can be moved in relation to the machine.

If you do not wish to use the product on the BG2000 belt sander, we can integrate the gripper system into existing belt sanders, but please contact us in advance!

The aesthetic appearance, durability and corrosion resistance of the product are guaranteed by galvanic galvanizing and electrostatic powder coating.
