Planer knife sharpening attachment

The planer blade sharpening attachment for DTG-BG2000 belt grinders is a proprietary accessory specifically designed for sharpening straight-edged knives.

Precise material separation is ensured by a carriage moving on linear rails on the X and Y axes, which is moved longitudinally by hand and transversely by handwheel via a trapezoidal spindle-nut linkage. The travel is measured with an indicator clock with a 0.01 [mm] division. The transverse linear rails can be preloaded by means of a lever to facilitate precise adjustment.
The workpiece is clamped by 4 clamping jaws. In addition to the clamping jaws, the rail also has a stop which, when adjusted, allows the workpieces to be aligned to the same size and parallelism. The rail holding the workpiece can be easily placed on and off the rollers in one movement. The rail bracket is equipped with an angle scale so that the angle of the workpiece to be sharpened can be checked and reproduced.

The maximum length of the workpiece that can be machined is 450 [mm].

The aesthetic appearance, durability and corrosion resistance of the product are guaranteed by galvanic galvanizing.
