Colour dense-seam polishing disc – rag disc – diam. 250x20x20 [mm]

The rag disc in this size can also be used on the DTG-PM250 polishing machine, suitable for polishing a variety of shaped and flat surfaces.
“The discs are made up of complete sheets, concentrically circularly sewn, to which abrasive paste or grit is applied with tallow or kaolin. The seam spacing is 12,5 mm for thickly sewn discs and 50 to 75 mm for thinly sewn discs. The basic hole diameter is 10 mm, with other hole diameters available on request.

The most common raw materials and their applications:

• Coloured cotton: made from whole coloured cotton sheets. Suitable for all metals and alloys, good metal release, general polishing disc.
• Molinos (recycled): made from whole, unbleached cotton sheets. Medium, general purpose polishing disc for all metals and plastics.
• White flannel: made from whole, very soft cotton sheets, fluffed on one or both sides for increased softness. For ultra-fine polishing, burnishing on soft metals.”

Rag discs types:
Rag discs are distinguished by size, seam density and material quality. Size: the smallest size is 50 mm, the largest 650 mm.
