Grcontact wheels are used specifically for large material separations. Thanks to the grooves, the contact wheel adapts well to the shape of the workpiece and can therefore achieve a higher material separation than a contact wheel with a smooth surface. In addition, thanks to the grooves, the belt is constantly cooled by the circulating air, thus reducing heating and increasing the life of the belt.
