General information:
“… abrasive and polishing pastes contain 50-60 % abrasive grit, the remainder being agglutinating fats and oils. The pastes can be graded on two scales of value, the degree of abrasion and the surface gloss. While the former shows how much material is being removed (how coarse the paste contains), the surface gloss scale shows how glossy the paste can be used to produce a surface. The two metrics are inversely related, except for some pastes. So, with a high material separation, you will get a lower surface gloss. ”
“For those who want to polish steel, we recommend the use of a dense-seam rag disc and Abramax grey polishing paste for pre-polishing. As a second step (if you want a really nice finish to achieve a really nice finish), use a dense-seam rag disc with Maxfin green paste. For polishing, Chromax pink paste is recommended for a rare seam rag disc.”

I mainly use it for polishing silver-nickel guitar frets.
It removes the marks of P150 sandpaper in seconds and the end result is high gloss. Incredibly good! I use it with a felt disk.
