The leather belt is recommended for the removal of the burr produced during sharpening, using a sharpening paste.

We have developed our leather tape for the DT Grinder sharpening methodology, which is used to separate the burr produced during sharpening and to finish the bevel. For use with sharpening paste.
The leather belt can be used on the DTG-KS1, DTG-KS1V, DTG-KS3 and DTG-KS3V.

Due to the nature of the raw material and the tensioning mechanism of the machine used, the belt may stretch up to 5% along the length of the belt during the first few times of use. This should be monitored with the equipment used.
Sideways movement during use is allowed due to the production technology and material quality, up to ±2% of the nominal width of the tape.

The following instructions for use must be observed for all leather belt:

• Maximum applicable belt speed: 12 [m/sec]
• Apply paste during use.
• Protect from overheating.
• Protect from moisture!
• Use the tape only in the direction of rotation.
• After use, remove the product from the tensioning mechanism to prevent it from stretching
