The molinos polishing disc in this size can also be used on the DTG-PM250 polishing machine for polishing a variety of shaped and flat surfaces.

“The discs consist of complete sheets, made by concentric circular stitching, to which abrasive paste or grit is applied with tallow or kaolin. The seam spacing is 12,5 mm for thickly sewn discs and 50 to 75 mm for thinly sewn discs.

The most common basic materials and their applications:

Coloured cotton: made from whole coloured cotton sheets. All metals and their alloys are suitable for general polishing discs with good metal release properties.
Molinos (recycled): Made from whole, unbleached cotton sheets. Medium general purpose polishing disc for all metals and plastics.
White flannel: Made from whole, very soft cotton sheets, fluffed on one or both sides for increased softness. For ultra-fine polishing, burnishing on soft metals.”

Disc types:
The polsihing discs are distinguished by size, seam density, and material quality. Sizes: the smallest size that can be produced is 50 mm, the largest 650 mm.
