Add bright, vibrant colour to Resin90 stabilising resin. Cactus Juice colourants are specifically designed for use with stabilising resins.
The colourants are 100% liquid, won’t settle over time and help achieve really vibrant colours – colours that you can’t achieve with Alumilite colourants alone. Cactus Juice dyes are not intended to replace Alumilite dyes, but to complement the colour palette. <\/p>\n
Cactus Juice dyes can only be used with Resin90 stabilising resin. They will not work with Alumilite Clear casting and turning resins, epoxy and polyester resins. <\/p>\n
The recommended starting ratio is 30 g of dye to 4 kg of resin<\/strong>. After the wood has stabilised, cut the piece in half lengthways to see the depth of colour from the inside. <\/p>\n If the wood is too dark, add more transparent Resin90 to the mixture.<\/p>\n If the wood is not dark enough, add more colouring to the mixture.<\/p>\n Remember, to achieve the desired colour, you need a lot more colouring than you might think.
