Shell vacuum pump oil<\/strong> is designed for rotary vane vacuum pumps. The oil is made from selected, premium quality, highly refined mineral oils that provide low vapour pressure and high performance, resulting in efficient lubrication. <\/p>\n in rotary and rotary vane vacuum pumps that achieve low vacuum levels (not less than 0,001 mbar at 75 \u00b0C);<\/p>\n in most industrial vacuum pumps.<\/p>\n Long life<\/strong> – less frequent oil changes, excellent resistance to chemical and mechanical degradation, reduces sludge deposits and contamination.<\/p>\n Wear and corrosion protection<\/strong> – effectively protects internal metal surfaces from corrosion and wear.<\/p>\n Wide range of temperatures<\/strong> – can be used at ambient temperatures above 0 \u00b0C, maximum operating temperature: 100 \u00b0C. Vacuum performance may be reduced at higher operating temperatures. <\/p>\n Restriction<\/strong> – not recommended for use with corrosive gases or chemical vapours.<\/p>\n In RS series vacuum pumps, the oil should be changed every 20 hours of operation<\/strong>, but at least once a year.
