I am Dávid Tőzsér, one of the founder of the company.
The name DT Grinder may be conspicuous at first, it it is derived from the surnames Darai and Tőzsér and the word grinder. Sándor Darai and myself Dávid Tőzsér founded the company, which has been operating successfully for a year now. Our company can be divided into two parts: On the one hand we provide professional sharpening solutions of cutting tools within a short period of time,be it a hairdressing scissors or your favorite kitchen knife. On the other hand, we are constantly expanding our self-developed, designed and manufactured sharpening machines and belt grinders. With our product family, we provide a solution for both industrial and everyday use.
The mastermind behind the company was Sanyi, who while working as a knife-maker ran into the problem that he didn’t really find a suitable sharpening machine. This idea resulted in DT Grinder’s past, present and future. One thing was sure from the very beginning. We are going to develop professional quality products and services to satisfy all end-user and industrial needs. After several years of development and experimentation, we have developed a range of machines and services, which we proudly recommend to both private and industrial customers.
Our company can be basically divided into two parts:
The main profile of our company is machine construction. Currently, we have two main product groups: sharpening machines and belt grinders. Sharpening machines include the KS1, KS1V, KS3 and KS3V belt sharpeners, a self-developed angle support and clamping system, a properly selected belt speed and an endless leather belt ensure the effectiveness of our technology, here you can read more about it. Belt sanders have been developed to be versatile and practical to use. All of our machines can be specifically expanded with accessories, which we are constantly developing and expanding. Today we can say that more than 150 DT Grinder machines work in Hungary every day and we are already present in 6 other countries.
An essential and important part of our company is our sharpening service, with which we provide a solution for professional sharpening of cutting tools within a short period of time that satisfies all needs. Be it hairdressing scissors, garden tools, meat grinder plates, knives or our favorite kitchen knife.
Our sharpening and belt grinding machines are made one by one in our workshop in Debrecen, with precise, careful attention, in order to ensure the highest possible quality for our customers.

Our philosophy
Reliability, quality, accuracy and precision play a significant role during the design, manufacture and in the quality of our belt grinding and knife sharpening machines. This is also achieved in the usability, service life, number of functions, surface treatment and ergonomics of our belt grinder. Even at the exact edge angle of a cutting tool. The quality of a knife’s edge lies not only in the fact that it cuts well at the given moment, the right edge angle and its permanence and perpetuitty are also important. This is important for the edge life of the knife, its resilience, and its numbers, and therefore for the life of the knife. It may sound strange, but there is science to it as well. We want to redefine the concept of a sharp knife for everyone. To ensure a constant quality, we have designed our own belt grinder, which we hope will be a much needed addition to the product to the market of sharpening machines. Both our machines and services are available to anyone, we hope to know you very soon among our satisfied customers.
